Tip of the Week

Walter Williams founded the world´s first journalism school in 1908 at the University of Missouri. From the beginning the emphasis has been on practical experience. Faculty members include practicing journalists and top-flight scholars and researchers.

The "Missouri Method" emphasizes hands-on learning in laboratories such as a daily community newspaper, an NPR radio station, an NBC-affiliate TV station, plus news and information services published on the World Wide Web.
